How do I place an ad?
Visit Sell Your Auto from the main menu. From there, you can choose between ad packages.
Does Upillar.com offer a checklist for creating an ad?
- Thanks to NADAguides, all options in your vehicle are automatically shown just by picking the make, model and year of your vehicle. You may want to have your original sticker with you to check the correct boxes, but if one cant be found, check the boxes you know are included in your vehicle. To better prevent false listings, a VIN # is required.
- Make a list of the selling points for your vehicle. Pick the best features, safety items, upgrades, or warrantees that are included with the vehicle. Keep the listing real and honest. You will find out that many people are turned away from "too good to be true" listings.
- Photos of your vehicle will dramatically increase the chance of selling. Although not required, we highly recommend adding photos to your listing. If you do not have a digital camera, or a way to connect it to the internet, please send a picture to our staff and they will be more than happy to assist you in posting your picture at no additional charge. You may take just about any kind of camera to the nearest photo lab and they will be able to transfer the pictures to a cd, or memory disk. Just send that to our office with your listing number, and we will get your listing updated right away.
- Visa, Master Card, AMEX, or Discover are all accepted on our site. Check your credit card statements for discount certificates that will be in promotion throughout the year. The charge will show up as Lexon Industries, Inc.
What if I don't have a digital camera?
That's okay. Just take your film to your local photo-processing lab and request a photo CD. Then just upload the photo, or send it off to one of our customer service representatives. Click here for the address
I just listed a vehicle, where is my photo?
Typically, your ad goes live in just a few hours after you place your ad. However, sometimes your uploaded photos may not appear until the next business day. Also, we reserve the right to reject any inappropriate photos uploaded.
How do I remove, edit or renew my ad?
Once you place an ad with us, you'll receive a confirmation email with the listing. You may edit your ad when you log into your "My Upillar" account. Just click edit next to the details button.
Upillar.com will not let me edit part of my listing. Why?
Upillar.com allows certain parts of your listing to be modified. If there is a section that you cant edit, please call our customer support and we will fix the issue.
Why am I receiving calls from telemarketers? What should I do about them?
Upillar.com will never share our customers' information or phone numbers with other companies or telemarketers. If someone called to sell you an ad on another website, the company probably got your phone number by computer programmed searches, or reading your public listing on Upillar.com.
You can register your home and cell phone numbers on the national do-not-call list. Register online for free at www.donotcall.gov or call 1-888-382-1222. If you believe a telemarketer has violated your do-not-call rights, note the name or number of the company and submit an online complaint with the Federal Trade Commission at www.donotcall.gov.

Why do some searches take longer than others?
At high traffic times during the day, it may take a little longer than usual to provide search results. You may have to click the link again if your search sits idle for more than 15 seconds.
What is the best browser setup for viewing Upillar.com?
Upillar.com supports most popular browsers. To enjoy the full benefits of our site, make sure you are using the most current version IE explorer, Firefox, and Safari have been tested for bugs. Any others may not show up correctly.
What resolution should my monitor be set to?
Upillar.com displays and functions great on all monitors that support a resolution of 800x600 and up.
Images aren't displaying. What should I do?
Check your browser settings and make sure that images are set to load automatically. In Internet Explorer:
- On the Tools menu, click Internet Options.
- Click the Advanced tab.
- Under Multimedia, make sure the Show Pictures box is checked.
If you get a generic icon for each image, you can right-click the icon, then click Show Picture.
If images still won't display, there may be an error with the connection. Try refreshing the page or closing and restarting your browser. You may need to restart your computer as well.
