Every option chosen by the user is added up and displayed as the total options value(Displayed in Red). Each total will be slightly different depending on which trade-in condition you are looking at. This value is added to the base vehicle value to determine the total vehicle value.

What is Estimated Equity?

To factor equity, you take the Average Trade-in Value(Displayed in Blue) and minus the sellers asking price. The more equity, the better deal you are getting! When a user is listings a vehicle for sale, they choose the options that are available for their specific make, model, and year. NADAguides determines the values of these options and then we display them for everyone to see by using our patent pending technology. These values are pre determined by NADA are not adjustable by the user. So rest assured, the values are not determined by the seller!

  • * If they advertise for less than 70% of new cost for sought after electronics. SCAM!
    • 3- Western Union or Cashiers Checks;
  • * If they offer to send you more than the asking price, and ask you to pay shipping or return money, it's a scam!
  • * Wait for checks to clear. Do not accept checks from other countries. You can not verify them! You'll get scammed.
  • * Try using PayPal or other merchants that guarantee their services. Make sure they are reputable like Google Checkout or Paypal.
    • Don't get scammed. If it seems too good to be true, it is!
